i'm going to guess that the noise might have been edited in because the noise of the tank could've drowned it out, so possibly that's not the actual noise it made.

 

The Hungry Horse chain of pubs do these over here. I tried one. It was horrible. I would not recommend.

Fried Oreos are hit or miss on where you get them. Fried Twinkies are a total waste (a bit redundant really), but fried Snickers bars, oh my gosh. They are the best fried snack I've had. The nougat expands, the chocolate melts, the caramel gets soft. It's so good.

 

I like the crispy outside of a fried Twinky. But I agree, fried snickers are one of the best snacks to fry.

 

Someone's been arrested for putting a dodgy picture as an iPad background on a display model in Tesco. The world's gone mad. No wonder why the police are stretched thin when they get called for this s**t.

 

Well it has certainly given me a puerile smile.

 

Not strictly "demote", but made me chuckle...

 

The demote is the bloody awful excuse for Irish accents that occurred on that episode.

It's a shame Barrie Ingham (the leader of the "Oirish" in that episode) passed away last week.

 

For me, the one with the Scottish ghost (Sub Rosa) was worse, but then that might be because I'm Scottish.

 

Let's face it, most episodes of TNG were crap before the third season.

The rest were not much better either.

 

That really made me laugh. Now I know why I never had any success learning programming!
