Are you being called to a disciplinary meeting because you claimed the expenses you incurred getting their business open? Or because they are trying to find out what actually happened and why your supervisor didn't show up?

Game collectors. Retro game collectors to be more precise. They raise the prices by taking every last copy and skyrocketing prices of even common games that had millions of copies.

I recently dug out my old gameboy and wanted some of my old favourites, the bare essentials. £30 for a pokemon game?! £20 for Mario Land? Wario Land? £20 for Kirby and Castlevania? Complete madness. Although it's nice to know I get about £50 for my Gameboy if I wanted, not that I would.

Just took delivery of some flat pack furniture in packaging that looks like it has been through the wars with a resulting bit of damage to a couple of pieces. Now it might be that the damage is at the rear and will be unseen, but the only way to find out is to unpack it completely and construct the thing which I am reluctant to do. So have informed Amazon.
This is the second package today I have received that was less than perfect. A soundba arrived with two parts missing, as it happens the parts I do not actually need as I am using a different cable to the missing one and brackets instead of the missing wall mount kit. But you would think that I should be perfectly satisfied with what I got given the attitude of the customer service rep. But no I paid for a complete unit and I expect a complete unit.

If anyone asks, tell them you're Graeme Dott.

    Nah.

I slipped on a wet floor in leather soled shoes in a yuppy bar in Chelsea and brained myself on the edge of a table.

    :naughty:

Well that is the least badass injury story I have ever heard.

    Heal up fast.

BT Infinity connection is mammaries-skyward, and the earliest an Openwretch can get to me is the 29th. Currently working by bogarting a neighbour's ADSL, but even with a compressed VPN connection it ain't speedy.

One of these days I should probably invest in a business-class connection...
