Well as you can imagine the key caps aren't metal, shock horror.

They are though identical to the ones that they are supposed to replace on the cheapo Kkmoon I bought a couple of months ago.

I'm fairly happy with them to be honest considering the price, £12.99, I have had a moan at amazon seeing as the description is wrong but they have refused any sort of compensation but did suggest I send them back and buy them again, which would cost me more money to get the mis described product lol.

Box was stupid clamshell packaging, bruised my little finger getting it open.

So not only do they wrongly describe the keys as metal it's also not in a box, ps red and black isn't colourful either.

Mine are alright - I found them again when I was tidying them. Want to borrow them to have a look?

It's a lovely little board - I'm still using it despite the fact that my preferred switch is MX Brown.

I'm quite enjoying the keyboard, the clacking of the keys is so satisfying, having slight trouble getting used to the height of the keys as I'm so used to a chiklet keyboard, keep bumping my fingers into other keys as I lift off from a keypress to move onto the next key if that makes sense.

I get what you mean - I find the opposite now when I'm using a laptop keyboard or the like in that I find the lack of definition between the keys a pain. There are lower profile caps for mechanical keyboards but you should get used to those ones over time :)

Good deal, I bought an original K65 on the MP the other week for £40 and really like it.
Staring to get frustrated with sticky membrane keys on the family PCs - may have to break out the K65 on other occasions than using the gaming PC

Enjoy - and the RGB bling too! :cooldude:

Slippery slope - it'll begin with "I don't like the other keyboards" and will end with "I've bought a new keyboard for your PC"...

Crapbag - you've done that right? is it hard? I think I have the LED mounts on my keys they're just not there.

Sorry mate I never saw your post.

I have changed leds but not fitted them to an existing board that didn't have them to start with.

Are we talking about the magic force board you have?

If there is a magic force board the same as yours that comes with leds I'd imagine it would just be a case of soldering them in as all the tracks should be there.

Easiest way to check would be to take the board apart if easy enough and touch an led across the terminals.

Might need to take some voltage measurements across each terminal as well to find out whats being supplied as if these boards come with an array of coloured leds you will have to use the correct voltage leds for the supplied voltage, obviously this will limit your colour choices.

Wicked, thanks. I will take it apart and have a look soon. The LEDs need to be tiny though, any idea where I can get them in cyan?
