My brand new monitor came with a display port / cable and i was like wtf is this and what's wrong with hdmi?

My understanding is after that massive old display cable we use to have for CRTS they started to develop the display port?? in which HDMI came out and totally blew it away? so why do we have display ports appearing on monitors on 2016??

Display port has greater bandwidth than hdmi, it also supports variable refresh rate monitors. If anything HDMI should take a hike.

Some of them are ginger nuts...

And there's custard creams, and chocolate bourbons, and hobnobs, and fig rolls, and, and, and...

(it was my turn to get the department biccies in...)

Thanks for the offer, but they need to be saved for the rest of the derpartment. Technical runs on tea and biccies, if you want to try and deprive a bunch of engineers of their crunchy noms then go for it, things have been... disassembled for a lot less ;)

Youngest daughter, nine months, went to a first birthday party on Saturday; Sunday we got a text from the kid's mother saying that she'd been diagnosed by the hospital with measles. Getting the runaround from our GP when asking for MMR (or HNIG) prophylaxis, and now we're twiddling our thumbs waiting for Public Health England to investigate - all while the 72-hour window of efficacy ticks down.

    Acebest.

Left eyes twitching constantly due to stress an lack of sleep gets pretty violent at times to the point someone pointed it out earlier. May get an eye patch or some really dark glasses.

Rent company is pushing me out of the flat, I need to move into a flat share which doesn't allow pets.

Meaning I have to give away my cat in pretty much less than 2 weeks. Heartbroken doesn't even come close.

My left eye was doing that for about three weeks, but it seems to have lessened over the last few days - hopefully it'll go away entirely soon. The twitching, I mean; not the eye.
