Yesterday the BoS informed us that we are getting over seven grand in PPI repayment. In the same letter they tell us it could take 28 to transfer the amount into our account. Are they having a laugh?

I shall be requesting the reason why and dependent on the answer contacting the Financial Ombudsman with a complaint.

Cars refusing to start as the angle sensor on the steering wheels mis reading, easy fix, remove wheel remove module replace and fit, only its not easy as some moron used an impact gun on the steering wheel bolt an basically cold welded it in.
Steel on steel. Broke a ratchet trying to remove the bolt thats only meant to be 40nm. Easy out had none of it just blunted itself after tightening nicely. Now to fathom a way to remove the stupid thing.

My best suggestion is to find the idiot who did this and use his teeth to undo the nut.

Doubt their face would fit, previous owner too I think, solution so far is weld a nut, thankfully its a still bolt an has a 28mm head so I can get a large nut welded, once I have bought a replacement bolt.

Can't find a GPU at "not extracting the urine" price. Even something pretty rubbish like a GTX 680/770. I really don't want to put the whole loop back together and fill it up without upgrading the GPU but the prices on everything are terrible. Even old s**t.

We have had another half hearted covering of snow in Edinburgh, I don't know why the sky bothered dropping it in the first place.

No snow here, this is ruining my life, that being said if it were to snow the fact my car seems to wheelspin in 4th at the moment doesn't bode well for if we get any.
Driving a Swedish car does not automatically make it any use in snow.

This last week or so has been hell. My back gave out, presumably because my body was already weakened by the flu. I'd never had to deal with both at the same time before and it went something like "AchooaaaRRGGHH!!"

Nah you need winter tyres for that. My friends/family on the mainland can't believe we even consider driving in summer tyres.

But the only way to get any fun out of the snow when you're a grown up is to be driving with summer tyres! Sideways roundabout action weeeeeeeeeeee!!

I've been after CrossClimates ever since they were launched, just not yet available in the right sizes :/

Maybe this year is the year?

Cross Climbs are 110 a corner on mine, may have a nose when it warms up a bit (seems silly but the prices usually drop as they are "out of season")
