I know I was being silly. Oh and would you look at all the pre-orders and info going online and yet no one can release a review mmmm I wonder if we'll see leaks from 'influencers'
Did AMD really do the launch-preorders-before-the-review-embargo-expires thing again? ::EDIT:: Well everybody's articles dropped at 1200UTC, so I can answer myself: yes, AMD did indeed do it again.
Shops aren't supposed to ship them until the embargo is up, so technically ordering now gets you nothing. (of course if one was desperate enough there is the option to carpet bomb a large number of shops with orders in hopes of one slipping up and shipping it early, then cancel the rest of the orders)
Scan are taking pre-orders on both the CPU's and Mobo's - I'm going to wait on reviews before dropping on anything, it's pretty much a certainty as to what I'll buy but just want some hard facts and comparison rather than mere speculation beforehand
That was a forgone conclusion Once the reviews are in B I'll drop on mine, your turn to be the test subject on this occasion fella - you can let us know how it performs on an X370 platform
The Fatal1ty X470 Gaming-ITX/ac looks looks good with a 2700x. I'm waiting for a reponse from Intel before I decide. I would also like an mITX board with dual M.2 support. The Fatal1ty has everything elese I'm looking for. The IO panel on the ASUS ROG STRIX X470-I looks terrible.
A quick look at the X470 boards suggests AsRock boards will be the by far superior choice... MSI has missed the memo to relocate the M.2 slots from below the PCI-e slots Gigabutt and Biostar continue the assault on the eyes So it comes down to Asus and AsRock and we all know Asus won't be too competitive on price.
