Probably promised another bung. Isn't it funny how "taking back control" translates in practice to "handing control of the future of the entire UK to ten right-wing MPs of a minority party in a devolved government"?

That will happen five minutes before everyone thinks the WA is in the bag.

 

I don't think there'll be the numbers though. Some Tories will not back the deal at all.

I'd love for them to spend all this time knob polishing with the DUP for the MV3 to still fail to pass.

 

The way things have been going so far, that's probably going to happen.

Or that walk that Nige ain't really going to be on much, if at all.

You know, like asking people to do something that he won't really be affected by. Seems to be a pattern with him.

 

Is that kicking off today then? I would love to watch a live stream of that, i suspect there will be more P takers and anti-march-to-leave supporters than actual leave supports, if not at the start then defiantly after a few days.

I've come to wonder whether Rees-Mogg doesn't have a better measure of people than I have. Yesterday I read of a Leave voter arguing:

So perhaps I should stop worrying about people living below the poverty line, or the chronically ill and disabled I see at work trying to survive on impossibly small benefit payments. Perhaps, like Rees-Mogg, I should rejoice in the increased use of food banks as an uplifting example of a compassionate British society and leave people to get on with what they, as informed and responsible adults, voted for.

BTW only 350 people signed up to this march so far, and only 200 have actually set off today. Only 50 'core marchers' have signed up to walking the entire distance --at 20 miles a day.
