    Well done! :thumb:

For various reasons I went gluten free (a suggestion by the brains of the house...) just over a year ago.

Checking my stats, and changing nothing else (besides continually trying to find nice bread) i've lost a stone in the past year.

Feels good to carry less around eh?

I'm a 42 waist ATM. That said I'm reasonably fit and can move around fine and ride etc.

I starved myself down to a 40 last year but all the time I'm taking my antipsychotics nothing will change. At all. They mess with your sugar levels something rotten.

Still I had my MOT a month back and my sugar levels were normal, nothing like last year when I was pre diabetic. Cholesterol was awesome too, as were cell counts and kidney/liver function. I just need a couple of heart tests now.

My stairs have been great for me. Even though I curse them every time I get to the top I always do them at least three times a day, a workout unto itself.

Yeah sometimes it's the simplest things that can make a difference. All I've done diet-wise is to cut out all snacks, so I eat only at meal times, three times a day. I still drink coffee with sugar, still eat chocolate and biscuits (although only after a meal), and I haven't gone to any extremes like keto etc.

For anyone wanting to lose weight I'd recommend kettlebells. They're fun, it doesn't take long, and the weight will just fall off. Make sure you up your protein intake so that you don't waste away to nothing!

For anyone wanting to do the opposite, I'd recommend a kettle and Pot Noodles.

Not to be confused with "kettle bell" - the thing you ring when you want a brew but can't be arsed to get up.

    My Tesa cloth tape arrived.

I absolutely haven't spent the last two hours wrapping all of the things.

..At least my engine bay electrical additions are neat and tidy now. And kind of almost look like they're meant to be there.

Booked accomodation for Whistler, (FFF~~~"$$%!!!K YEAH!), now just got lift passes and bike hire to sort out.

Also a trip to look at fat dolphins that support Newcastle, but whatever keeps the other one happy.

Just been out for dinner, 5 of us, I had 2 mains because I got the wrong impression and thought it was multi cuisine tapas type situation, lots of drinks had, joined by 2 more, more drinks, total bill 5353r. Or £72.33.

10 hour building session in a hot loft. Everything hurts. Trust there to be a main water pipe running diagonally across a 8ftx8ft room, meaning we had to double up every joist and support to clear it. That would have been about enough for me but we then lifted 7 8x2ft flooring particleboards up, then cut and fitted every one of them.

Like machines. Though tomorrow I probably won't be able to walk I now have a Hella huge man cave. All I need to do now is skin all the things with 6mm marine ply, plop down some lino and man heaven.

Also this - it'll hold about ten bikes. Wood, got.

A random search for a skt 939 board on ebay comes up trumps!

    Snagged a working MSI K8N Diamond (NForce4 SLI) MB, A64 3500+ CPU, 2GB DDR and... the best bit... a X850XT.... for £20

Been after a X850XT to pit against the 6800 Ultra I have had for ages.

More retro fun on its way! :D:D:D:D

Also the rampage "beast" is now back up and running properly:

My first 'all new' build was a 939 machine, in 2000.

I started out on Socket 754 with a 3200+ and then upgraded to a 939 board with a 4000+. All gone now, but I still have an X1950XT in my cupboard. That card was awesome!
