    Wow, only just spotted this as i nomraly go straight to the forums.
    I was stunned and shocked reading the news, and I'm not ashamed to say on the verge of IRL tears.

    I was a lurker for a year or so before signing up after i just left school (2005/6) and wanted to make computer science my career ( didn't work out that way in the end) and learned a lot building, tinkering, fixing, problem solving, buying and selling parts all from here.
    I hold the community here to the very highest regard.

    One of the stand out times the community came together for me was to help build a gaming PC for my friend Bob who at the time was suffering with some of mental health issues at the time.
    We as a community managed to build him and fairly decent gaming PC for almost nothing.
    The images have been lost but still good to look back on. I still have them in my media page on here.

    Hadn't been on since February 2021, decided to login and I see bit-tech as an entity is gone but am heartened to see the forums live on - great place that has sprung up here and i've learned many things and will no doubt learn a few more things moving forward.

    Unfortunatly due to us having to step away from the site we had to close it down and it honestly didn't get much action when we were live. We do have a few branded things around the office that we've looked at potentially giving away.

    Once I'm back from my Christmas holidays I will see if I can get a limit time 7 day open period. I'll also round up all the stuff we have in the office and work out a fair way to raffle it all

    Current plan is for the site and forums to be kept as is. We keep the news section as people still post on old articles and the old content there is useful to readers

    hmmm. As long as it isn't on the website we might be able to. I'll ask monday when I ask about the temp shop. Also anyone that would buy something if we did temp open the shop please leave a comment
