Will be picking up another free trial for that one. Rewatching season one will be a must.

Currently chomped through Foundation S1 (again - I like to recap by watching all the previous season(s) of a series...)

    Now chomping through season 2.

I loved the books and am thoroughly enjoying the series. Approaching it as something different but also familiar helps.

One Piece (Live) on Netflix - Binged it on Saturday. Verdict: Not as bad as I thought it'd be.

EDIT: TIL - If you select the Japanese soundtrack, you'll find it's been dubbed by the ORIGINAL VOICE ACTORS!!!!!

Same director, the cameo in the bank along with the subtle musical shift was perfect.

Yep, that's only reason they agreed to do it, because he asked/wanted to make it.
Don't forget the legendary catch phrase leaving the bank too ;)

To no doubt be followed by 5 seasons of Stargate: Atlantis & 2 of Stargate: Universe?

Plus the Ark of the Truth and Continuum (plus ofc Stargate)

I did that all once, a long time ago - it is an investment of time

Ark of Truth is easy - it’s right after Unending, the very last episode of Season 10. Continuum is a bit murkier, it technically takes place much later during the timeline.

This is why you need a viewing order (see last post)

    That seems, somewhat overly complicated?

It was a long time ago when i last watched through SG1/Atlantis (although have just started a rewatch - nearly end of season 2 of SG1), i dont recall the crossover between them being that significant, or anything happening in the other being pertinent?

I'm happy to be proved wrong, but interleaving season episodes? that seems uneceesary!

EDIT: and if we're talking a watching order, what about the animated series? Where does that fit in?

That depends on how much of a Stargate nerd you are

To be fair... after the Atlantis opener, there are very few actual crossover episodes where you have characters from one series in the other one. If you're not that much of a pedantic nerd about it, you won't really lose out by watching all of SG1 and then watching all of Atlantis afterwards.

It really depends on how much you care about consistency in terms of in-universe technological development or specific events that might be referenced in either series. Which... depends on how much of a Stargate nerd you are...

As far as I understand, that's considered non-canon.
