For one refurbished by them they want £339 and for a Dell refurbished one they want £349 so a ~£85 saving (plus they'd check it over first for issues whereas Amazon wouldn't) Even with the price difference I still can't get the Asus out of my mind... What made you go for it may I ask?
I had 2 P2210's stop working after 3 days from NRG, but that was just bad luck with the particular monitors. I'd have no hesitation buying from NRG again because the service was top notch, and they're such a brilliant bunch of guys!
Well I've gone and done it - U2713HM from NRG:IT They're going to give it a good look over for the 'yellow' backlight bleed, crosshatching and image retention before sending it - it should be here tomorrow! Thanks for all the help guys - rep bombs away!
I hope so! I'm still really worried tbh that it'll arrive with issues but reading people's feedback here and looking on their ebay feedback is reassuring me somewhat. Also knowing they'll take it back within 14 days at their expense helps too... Can't wait for tomorrow now though!
Hmm tempted at those prices but gonna Have to save up for a few weeks. One thing that worries me about buying a new screen. In some fps games like metro 2033 and it's sequel I get very Bad motion sickness on My dell 2405. What would be the chances of experiencing on the current dell. 27" to 30" range?
You probably got that due to the very tight fov, you can change it if needed http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1192986 Also going from 16:10 to 16:9 may make it feel different, I personally wish I had 16:10
It arrived this morning but since I am at work it's now in the boot of my car... Can't wait to get home later
Yeah They are really good at replying to ebay messages and were really helpful... They use DPD next day so it is fast - I ordered yesterday at about 11am and it arrived this morning at about 9.30am
I tried changing Pov but still had it, when I tried on my trusty old plasma screen I did not get any Motion sickness in any of the games I tried
I bet you can't wait! It's a hell of a monitor from a brilliant retailer! I also wish I had 16:10. Then again, I'm running 18:16 at the moment.
