News Crysis 2 minimum specs revealed

My 4850 and Q6600 should handle it fine then... I'll have to check it out if there's a demo released.

I think there is a tradeoff in this case. They've got proper sci-fi writers in for the story but haven't bothered updating the PC version of the engine by the looks of things. Maybe Crysis will now become a little more than eye candy...

Also, I remember trying to run Crysis on a 3450 on full settings. The speech was several minutes ahead of what was actually happening on the screen.

These specs are reasonable considering its a cpu/gfx heavy 2011 game. Nothing out of the ordinary. The real question is whether this game actually plays well instead of just looks cool.

This is nonsense.
It's going to run on less than that.
For example, Gothic 4 said it needed a 8800GTX, 8800GT, or 9600GT.
It ran on a 9400M G.
Still a 8800GT or better is a good idea for Crysis 2.

 

What game in existence would run like like on a 8800GT? The game looks pretty decent on consoles.
