Had a good game in the CPC server earlier on Strike at Karkand. Came down to the last 7 tickets before my team managed to eek out the win

I've been having very weird hitreg issues with the 870MC shotgun recently, where one game every shot is a perfect kill, but others it takes 3 shots point blank to put someone down. Not sure why it's the case - I've got the laser sight equipped rather than extended mag, and buckshot. Perhaps I should try slug.

 

There is no reason to use slugs ATM. Buckshot has been working fine for me

 

What software are you going to be using to record it?

 

I can only use Shotties on Hardcore, else they just seem too weak.

 

Well in the past I'd use FRAPS but since I like recording in 720p it meant I'd have to play in that resolution which was pretty gimp. Last night I gave Dxtory a try and it seems pretty good so far, so will having a proper stab at recording some matches tonight and see how it goes

Is laying down smoke worthwhile?

I'm debating being a pain and using the grenade launcher instead of the medi-kit to unlock it but if it's not really a benefit to drop smoke then I may just ignore it.

 

without smoke, you might as well hand your weapons to the defenders in Rush.

mortar can also do smoke, press 2 and launch as usual.

not much use in other game modes though.

Mortar with smoke too, just mash 1 + 2 and blow the crap out of an area, makes a lot of people panic...

Any really, I use a headset, its just what suits your needs.

Smoke is deffiently worthwhile, Mortar'ing or M320'ing

 

Another question; Do any of you find that when you change the key bindings they reset the next time you launch the game?
I can't seem to get my knife key to stick on my mouse buttons and I can't really get my head around pushing 'F' to stab people.

Probably be a fair while before I unlock the mortar, I almost never play Support.

 

Mortar is a brilliant support weapon, deffo worth the time to unlock.
