I agree. How to it's a great idea for people to change ideias about something they are willing to share and it generates a lot of good ideias.
thats actually a great idea. Maybe more user written how to's atleast on the forum maybe. Even simple things like suspending hard drives etc...
Some of the other forums I participate in actually have a 'How To' subforum. What starts off as a simple question and gets some positive responses with useful ideas gets moved in 'How To'. How To: Strip alum anodizing and repaint Polish acrylic Tools and how to use new ones Masking and painting engraving We have these on BT but they are shotgunned into individuals project logs, mods, games section, hardware, everywhere. john
I kinda find that bit has lost it's "family-feel" it had 4 or 5 yrs. ago. Back then you had the same people post in most of the Sub forums and it felt like you "knew" the people that postet around you. Now it feels somewhat torn apart and excluding some of the regular posters, like a bunch of strangers. But I guess thats due to the immense growth of the Forum. /plus everybody seems to constantly argue about every random bull****
If you kids don't quit arguing and making noise I'm going to have to send the lot of you to time-out. There are adults here trying to have a meaningful discourse. Somewhere. Never mind, they all left. john
I didn't even realise bit had been bought, of course now that I have found out I am naturally shocked and scared at the change!
I think you'll find you mean...wait, what the hell do you mean? If you meant psychosomatic, you've just made this grammar nazi's day. If not, you've taught me a new phrase.
Maybe he meant psychosemitic? A condition wherein you become a comedy, stereotypical Jew, walking around calling everyone a "schmuck" and saying "oy vey" a lot.
Firefox speeling check is godawful, and even messes up the best thought out posts. I meant psychosomatic
I've always found it odd that the Firefox spell check knows the word Microsoft but doesn't know Firefox...
Microsoft, at least, have their allegiances figured out - Word refuses to acknowledge "iPod" and corrects the capitalisation of "Apple" My phone couldn't spell "erroneous", the other day. I was mortified, but it also pleases me every time it happens - I'm better at English than an entire team of T9 programmers. Suck on that.
