Just as promised, here's the beginning of my new case project. This time around, I'm skipping the typical metal PC case and using this new end table instead. Here's a few pics before I get started on my PC's new home: The huuuge inside! Here's a comparison between the new case and my Lian-Li PC-75, which I previously thought was big. More to come really soon!
Wow...I must say that is quite nice. Going for a 'stealth' look? Lots of possibility in that...should definitely give you enough room to mound everything...and maybe some new stuff? =)
The 'stealth' look is exactly what I'm going for. I keep my computer in my living room and a huge PC case doesn't exactly look good in here. Also, I've been needing a new end table for the side of my couch, so that's how the idea for this happened. When designing it I'm going to make sure I have room for more than one PC in there should I ever want to add another one.
I was thinking the same thing...it would be really neat if you put all the fans on the bottom of the case, so it would be really stealthy.
as for the fans for the case... you could possibly use a set at the bottom to pressurize the box and then use some pvc risers to draw from the top inside to take the hot rising air and guct it back down to the bottom... Just use some sort of deflecter to control the hot air blast. also, later on, you could also hinge the top cover and hide a lcd under that.. and use a panel insert to seperate that from the pc compartment. also it could double as a secondary table while the screen was up...
