LOL The Holy Grail of Backplates

So... somebody is selling a used GTX980 backplate on ebay for £70. What an absolute bargain.

For sh!ts'n'giggles I contacted the seller to ask what the best price might be, and here's the response:

(I'm trying desperately to restrain myself from responding with "baaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahah" but help me out guys... it's tough. )

 

Message back saying "Can you drop it to 5£0?"

 

I knew I shouldn't have bought the backplateless 1080, think of all the money I'm losing out on!

 

That's total comedy. Mind you, by the time I got the backplate for my Titan X from the US, it stood me in nearly £40...!
