Yeah, in a less angry tone, I agree with you. I suscribed to this thread because I want to know when we get some pictures of the WIP case - not because I want an e-mail every time someone praises his previous cases (which, do definitely deserve praise, just not in this thread).
lol so true, its gonna be 50 pages long before he even STARTS the actual modding. *rahoul sees a locked thread on the horizon
hello piloux congratulations again.we're all waiting to see the fantastic work you are going to do on this project ps:tu me fais rebosser mon anglais merci
piloux, you just don't stop do you man? Congratulations on the new project. I would feel pretty honoured to get an e-mail from Gabe and you certainly deserve it. Can't wait to see what it will be like PILOUX : THE MOD FACTORY
I'll try to make this one clear for them AsEeL. Translation: I understand, but I'm not saying you're financing the case and the hardware yourself. My question isn't what you get in return, but how Valve comes in for financing. You can't pay for the case, the mod AND the hardware yourself and then drop everything off at Valve's.
thanks guys Thanks Zap , I just choose intel instaed of amd because I want a great uv orange theme for the case and the DFI board has it , that s the only reason ... I already ordered the hardware then ... Hi Kipkool thanks for translation (I m french speaking ) Valve paid for everythings Well I understand that it is boaring to get e-mail every 5 minutes for those who subscribe , then may be an admin could close the thread till I show you some pics thanks
Hi there here is the first update of this project which I hope will finished faster than it started. In fact I didn't received yet all the stuff and parts I ordered and that is the reason why this took me some times to start the log, I m still waiting for lot of parts but like I received cased and psu I started working on it; what I ve done with it is not finished yet but I had few mails asking me why the project was on pause , then I decided to show you what I ve done so far. Then , here are some pics : first here is the Antec case, it is bigger than Blackmesa I painted all the frame with darkgrey primer paint and started to rust some parts of it you can see that I just give rust look to some frame's area and not to whole frame like in the other case then I bought some stuff to mod the PSU here is it well the PSU is not finished yet , I need some other stuff and especially to get the Bix² to place it into the frame and take measurements to end with it...and of course finished the paintjob on it, the yellow heatshrink will be change for black one soon too
Here is a excellent label of coffee I drink to get some inspiration... What I wanted to do with this was a sort of junction box to get the wiring inside it I gave it industrial look by putting a red valve and a broken window pressure jauge on it I still don't know if it will be its final position but it give a little idea about the look it will give to the case well , that's all til I receive the rest of my orders ; stay tuned guys
MOD ON MASTER!! I really can't wait to see the finished case in all it's glory!! All the best, Mike P.S. I just got my Antec PlusView 1000AMG case so I may get some ideas
Alright! Good to see it finally going - the rust effect is well done, I think not rusting the whole frame makes for a more realistic, and better effect. Keep em coming .
Wow. Another one! I really can't wait. You do some truly amazing work and I have been inspirededed. Huzzah!
MMMMMMMMMONSTER Update!!!! This is gonna be one cool case. I hope to see it in person if Valve brings it to any shows!. Great work with the coffee can . Mod on Master
