Modding Which dremel cutting bit for cutting alu?

    hi guys

    between dremel 561 (Multipurpose Cutter) and 9903 (3.2 mm Tungsten Carbide Cutter), which one is the best for cutting alu/plexi/acrylic?

    While I've hardly memorized the different dremel bits, I always use the fibreglass-reinforced cut-off wheels for alu. Occasionally the standard heavy-duty ones (those dark sand-ish ones), but only if I don't have any of the better ones available.

    Likewise for acrylic, just set it to go really slow so it won't melt all over the place.

    I got those fibreglass-reinforced cutting wheel as well but it seems like its easier with the cutting bits (for straight line, small place etc....)

    in my experience the fiberglass reinf wheels work well with thin alu sheeting and for straight lines. The cutters are better for curved cuts. I would prefer the Tungsten one.
