now i wan't to show my current project to you :baby:

    that was the main case:

at first i did some small work on my cd-reader and the cd-rw by removing all unimportant parts from its front:
unfortunately the cd-reader got damaged ;( so i have a gray dvd atm. but i'm working on it

that i did my control unit:
it's used to switch my cathodes (blue/uv) an control the fan's speed.

here's a very old pic from the inside:

than the idea of the cases name an logo was born. for those who didn't get the intention fof the name (xpose=expose)
the part down was or still is for getting some fresh air into the case.
    than came the upper part:

    all in one:

    turn on your lights:

the front is made of aluminium (2mm). i luckily got the logos lasered in it by a friend who has a company with the needed stuff.
the aluminium is sanded and got a clear lack surface. makes it shine very nice, you know.

time to change the cooling system...
watercooling took over my brain so everything had to be silent.

the psu got modded an a silent fan
    [IMG]

because i'm a poor german student i had to build nearly every watercooling-part myself.

i'm using a heattransformer 2 and a hydorl20. cpu is cooled by a self-created cooler by sixtron. very great stuff. (designed for gpu/nb but works great on cpu's)

gpu-cooler(my first watercooling block) looks ugly but does his job quite good.

backside of the graka is also cooled. but passive. had no fitting copper at home:

hdd-cooler also selfmade. very easy but should work fine.

well, nb has to be cooled too;)
thought about creating a better cooler than for gpu so this one was built:

that was the main stuff done right now but i'm working on it.

what i have to do soon:
-fitting the heattransformer in the case

    -replacing psu things:

    and some silly work:
    fitting a lcd into a p2:
will sell it soon, if i get my blue/white lcd import.

a window should come too but had no idea what it could look like.

tons of images and texts but tell me your opinion :)

haven't tested my cooler so far. but i know some ppl that use similar coolers.
they work realy good. (if you notice a hdd only has 2-5w heatgeneration)
the hdd's are really NOT silent so I will use some noiseblocker mattings to make it silent

    new pic:
just added my nb cooler to the system (same temp as cpu :naughty: )

[edit] yes that's soldered :) very easy and effective

 For a poor German student you're doing pretty well! Great work. Where did you get those silver PSU leads, by the way? :naughty:

the leads are originally made for sound-systems :)
you normally have half of it to connect your stereo-system with your subwoofer etc. kindly got a doubled thing in a local german shop. (conrad.com sells these things too)

    :)
just saw the connector of the old nb-fan and thought about using it some way.
remembered some 5mm uv-leds (just bought 3mm @ebay but not received them yet) und soldered an uv-light for the nb-block.
atm only less effect because there is no uv-fluid in the water yet but soon :)

    (agp-port is uv-active. i like this board...)

    thanks for your opinions :)
thinking about a dremel action in the top. near the front, there will be the radiator's place. behind it, could be a tribal or sth like that. would place a sanded plexi in. and light it blue or white.
where can i get easy but good-looking tribals?
