I tried PhysX on the Batman demo and thought it was crap. You can cut police tape with your batarang? Awesome!

PhysX founder leaves Nvidia for AMD......
It's the motherf$#$@$% take over!! Nvidia sucks and doesn't care about gamers.

Now the circle is complete as AMD/ ATi offer an awesome product that uses less electricity and won't burn your house down or give you radiation poisoning.

Physx should be an OPEN tool to enhance a game for gamers and not Nvidia's greedy stock holder's bottomline. Manju Hegde welcome to the Light Side of the Force.

I'm starting to wonder just how long it will be before an article can mention Nvidia or GTX480/M without a slew of barbecue-themed responses :)

Hopefully a while yet, some of them are rather funny!

Physx is a waste of time precisely because nVidia didn't readily make it available for ATI to use. Just look at the number of games that adopted it, there would have been a huge amount of games by now if it was started as open source. nVidia could still cornered the market by making their cards better at PhysX processing, without any competition there's no reason to push the envelope

That's like saying that Java is a better platform than x86 is :eyebrow:

Repeat after me: OpenCL and CUDA are GPGPU programming frameworks, PhysX, Bullet and Havok are physics engines :)
