i delocked my car today cos i was fed up of little s***s sticking screwdrivers either in the lock or under it. scum***

i cna picture somone comign to the car with a screwdriver to break in, goign to smash the lock & find it aint a lock

why not recess it a bit & then cover it in body filler, smooth ti down to the level of the metal & then spray it to colour match

 

i can imadgain em trying it iching their head and just smashing the window lol

I am gunna fill it when i get time to , also colour coding the handles and mirrors.

what happens when the battery runs out on the fob? You are stuck thats what....

yeah i could carry a spare battery, but i think it tells u when its running out or the led flashes or summet
its a right diddy battery but its 12V !

Some cars have an electric override switch for the de-locked doors under the sills or in the wheel arches (bad idea methinks) but you could put an override in the boot

 

my idea would be flared cos the alarm would still sound no way to over-ride it unless i had a battery for the fob in the boot, now theres an idea.

an overide switch could be used yeah,

i'll keep checking the battery every so often

Transmitter as in keyfob battery will run out before the car battery cos i've just got a new vauxhall one for £25

I sat in one of those at last year's Motor Show in Birmingham. There's a button under each wing mirror, and two on the centre console.

 

sweet could do that if i really wanted but i aint

 

you will know if the batteryis dieing becase it wont work at long ranges anymore. once i got mine in the remote starter so low that i had to pop the hood and stick the keys next to the reciever to start my truck. lol i looked like i was stealing the truck in the parking lot.

 

A quick update LOL

it would apper that sum numpty has tried to break in but failed lol

the plate has been moved upwards and all the paint below it is chipped also there are streight scratches in the middle as if they tried a screwdriver,

i'de av loved to seen their faces when they tried it

Is there THAT much car crime where you live AW3K? From what you describe it seems to be a massive problem.

 

Acording to my local paper there is a gang going round doing all the pup and supermarket carparks in the area.

since i work in a supermarket and my car is there every week , easy target!

surely they would think to install cctv or something. I wouldnt visit a supermarket if i knew my car had a large chance of being broken into.

 

i wonder if they make car alarms that come with hydrolics so that your car would jump up and down while the alarm goes off. lol if that wont turn heads i dont think anything else will.
