And the winner has been the Abit SD7-533 BIOS since Tuesday.
For some reason the Abit BIOS causes the Geiger not to function. Before BIOS screen kicks in, it works fine. In BIOS settings it works too, of course with readings of zero. It works perfectly on my wifes old HP Celeron. Now I have tried it in every PCI slot, including #3, with no luck. I have turned things off in BIOS, turned things on, and Im running out of ideas. IOSS says that I need to disable "Auto Detect DIMM/PCI Clk" because I needed to disable the PCI Clock Suspension.
Anybody have any idea why it isnt functioning? I have done plenty of BIOS modding to try to fix it but have had no luck. The Debug POST code monitor worked fine and the switches work great. Just that @X#$&* PCI monitor! Anybody have this problem?
