    dual layer DVD-rom. i didn't know that was mainstream? i tought it was for freaks that absolutetly and positively had to put more than 4.7 on a single disk.

    there is however, 'dl' denoted on my dvd-drive. i guess that is 'dual layer'.

    dual layer dvd writers are quite cheap now you can pick one up on amazon for £18 or arround the same as a standard dvd writer

    Hope Ubisoft has used the extra months to finetune the game for the PC version. Assasins Creed 1 was very playable but the official method for quitting the game still has me baffled.
    Everything has to be epic these days it seems. sigh

    Wow this is a strange feeling. For one in my life my computer passes the recommended requirements....except for the GPU :( Oh well it's about on par with a 4770 I think so I'll be fine :)

    Any idea what DRM it's using?

    Ha my donkey's years old 939 pc still scrapes through the minimum specs! Although, if it wasn't for the overclock from 2GHz to 2.5GHz I'd be screwed. Definitely time for an upgrade - just need to water the money tree more!

    Its an amazing game on the xbox, but I suspect it'll be using Drac DRM of some sort :\
