Peripherals Audio Interference - When loading BF3

hi all,

Playing lots of BF3 atm on my Pc using headsets + on desk mic. Getting interference through my headset when ever the game starts, its just a constant drone/buzzing and it turns out its going through my mic to other people too which is a pain.

Any ideas on how I can resolve this? Or whats causing it. Moved both away from power cables but still no success

What soundcard are you using?

 

Im not using one, its my on board audio

 

That might be the problem, probably motherboard interference. I expect a cheap but decent soundcard would eliminate this.

 

Also just ordered a few snap on ferrite cores just incase

 

ill endevour to send the best i can find in the scrap bin

Ferrite core arrived, put them all over and have limited interference. Not removed it totally though :s .. need to remove them 1 by one and work out which was the culprit now
