yea used plumbers grips to get it out, you have to hold the locking mech tight to make it think its still in the car, i needed the key out becasue the cap on my car was a mess and i replaced it with new one and needed to take locking mechanism out

never forget reading the story in mini world (magazine over here in the uk) about a woman that had taken a husbands pride and joy out, his mini with a fake fuel cap like the one above.

Upon driving she realized that the car was low on petrol, decided to fuel up. Got out the car opened up the cap and fueled up and upon doing so wondered why the attendant came rushing over..... She had put it into the fake cap and put about £40 of fuel into it... Her husband wasn't very happy.........

Fake fuel caps are usually just bolted on, he must have gota real RHS fuel neck on it har har.
As an attendant i too would have rushed over, theres no way you can fit £40 in a mini less it has the two tanks! Most ive paid to fill up mine was £33! And thats cus i pushed it onto the forecourt ( completely empty ! )

Its about £1 per metric ton and you can get it from your local water supplier.

Unless you want Evian brand fake petrol. Which probably costs more than real petrol.

Anyone else notice Evian is naive spelt backwards? Coincidence? I think not!
