CPU Phenom II list of compatible mobo's

this is amd's recommended mobo's for the phenom 2's
can anyone add any mobo's that you know for a fact work with the phenom 2's?

and can anyone confirm whether or not this specific mobo works with phenom 2's yet
DFI LP UT 790FX-M2R

 

I think the Majority of the 790FX boards should work, if not then a BIOS update should fix it..

 

I'm 90% sure the DFI 790FX and FXB boards would worw.

anyone know when the first am3 specific boards are going to be out?
so far all I've seen are those am3 mini atx boards
and a few full atx boards saying they're am3 ready
when's the good stuff coming

how many of you have bought the phenom 2's already?

 

I have a Phenom II 940 running on a DFI Lanparty Jr 790GX M2RS. Micro ATX board but very sexy, with dual PCIE slots for crossfire

 

did you need a bios update for that?

 

Yes, there have been 2 bios updates released by DFI, the first one was a bit flaky and didn't name the CPU properly, the latest bios works fine though. Have had it stable at 3.6ghz on air-cooling with a small voltage increase, but am running it at 3.3ghz on the default voltage at present.
