Just read through these posts. Some excellent films.

Am suprised (but plesently) to see how many times Fight Club is mentioned. An excellent film.

I am also suprised to see that what I think to be an even better film with Ed Norton, American History X, has only been mentioned once. This is definately one of my favourite films.

    Other fav's of mine are:
Galaxy Quest - A great cast and plenty of laughs.
Frailty - Quite slow but a great story with a terrific ending.
A multitude of 'check my brain in at the door' action films inc. Demolition Man, Total Recall, Die Hards, Terminator 1,2 & Salvation etc

Many others that completely escape me now. The original Star Wars / Indiana Jones movies would be my movies of choice if I was stuck for something to watch.

    Oh?

Was Butler any good, or was he just about average?

    side note:

Tragic Hero is always good for a "holy terrible dubbing" laugh.

Now that's a big misunderstanding of the entertaining industry (to ancient greeks). In that time, sexual interference with both male and female couples happened quite often, yes orgies happened regularly after a big alcohol party. However, this is not only what Greeks did, both Persians and other countries did the same thing. It was just entertainment of the body. So yeah, labeling all the Greek heroes gay it's quite unpleasant.

P.S. There is more to it I just made it short because there are detailed and accurate information (if you look in the right place) everywhere.

Yes, yes it bloody well is. God, I wasted 120 minutes of my life watching the first one in English, it was terrible.

edit - has anyone mentioned 12 Angry Men yet?
