I run the Big Monster Samsung SyncMaster 213T 21.3 Inch Silver Edition.

It's one heck of a monitor, No ghosting in gaming, and has a swivel panel that will rotate 360 vertically. Comes with cool adjusting software too.

I've got a Samsung 997DF 19" Flat CRT, and I'm quite happy with it. Bulky of course, but it can do pretty high resolutions which is nice (up to 1920x1440 I think, I run it at 1600x1200). I also have a Dell E151FPp 15" LCD, which I thought was awesome until I got the CRT. That one was because it was the cheapest flat panel around. If I were to get another flat panel, I'm pretty sure it would have to be the Samsung 172x 17" 12ms, or better yet two.

    20" Viewsonic VP201S (silver)
    1600x1200 native resolution
    16ms response time

I'll know what it looks like when I hook it up to the 6800 GT Ultra(s)
that will need the ASUS A8N-SLI board. I hope to round up the VPU's
and the mobo before xmas. Talk about last minute shopping!

    :duh:

currently, all the monitors in the house are from hewlett packard or packard bell, essentially the same. theyre both 15 inch crt's. and theyre kinda crappy, but they work for picture editing and watching dvd's.

Have a compaq 7500 17" CRT, got it dirt cheap from a warehouse i used to work at, it had been on one side for about 3 months fully boxed and new, ended up buying it for £20 which is nice considering it's a rebadged sony something or other can go upto 1280x1024 @75hz which isn't bad, can go higher but only at 60hz, i leave it on 1152x864 @75hz.

Currently a Samsung 152T, my reasons for a TFT are purely due to desk space..

Hmm, Bit-tech need an LCD article, because according to this thread, more of us use LCD's than CRT's!

New viewsonic 171 coming out start of this month, BenQ's also got a 8ms panel to fight the viewsonic..

But then I wonder, (as anandtech pointed out) if they use 6bit instead of 8bit then its just the colour quality thats sacraficed, and in that case i'd prefer one with nice colours please!

Hmm, seriously, an article is needed!

AG F-217 17" TFT, its got lovely vibrant colours but falls down a little when it comes to distinguishing the very end of the dark greys. No ghosting, I play all my games in 1280x1024 (well those that are stable at that resolution). I also have a bulky yet reliable Axion 15" CRT which is used for all my little slave computers and project builds :cooldude:

I'm waiting for 20" TFTs to come down in price £600+ is too much and the size of a CRT is impracticle in my workshop/bedroom at uni.
