More importantly, are they really going kick up **** over two people that are married? They weren't going to stop the marriage just so that people wouldn't get pissed off.

Anyone who thinks this is a scandal is pathetic.

Arghh, stuff like this makes me hate people!

Thats great to know but hell, its their life and its not like IGN are giving away allot of high scores to Nintendo games. The only high scores I recall are Zelda, Super Mario galaxy, Metroid etc and those are the big A-List titles on the console that deserve it.

It will be a sad day when you lose your job for being married to the wrong person.

Heres a really ironic thing, the guy that reported the news about this and is demanding punishment, retribution etc:

    David Gornoski
He pretty much owns and runs VGMwatch.com, which according to him/site is meant to be a watchdog for the gaming media, to fairly report and analyse reviews done by websites like IGN, and similarly.

At the same time, he has a financial interest in e-mpire ltd, which effectively runs gaming news/review websites, which he is CEO and EIC for.

How is that not a bigger conflict of issue than Matt situation? Think the less 'credible' journalist in this case is David...

Whats absurd is people is actually taking up David's flag of indignation and self righteousness ignoring the glaringly obvious credibility issue David has which equates to direct financial gain in defaming IGN and competitor review/news websites.

So there's probably a Wii in his house .... who cares?

Hell, i doubt it would make a lot of difference, judging by his wife's position its probably not worth her job for it

Matt has always been a Nintendo fanatic since IGN was N64-only. Those were the golden years.
