Today in practice, I missed an easy dunk, got pissed and punched the green pad that is on the goal support. My hand felt funny so I look down and the bone in my right hand that leads to my little finger is sticking out about a half inch under the skin down by my wrist. I broke my damn hand. They call it a boxers fracture. I'm out of bball for at least 6 weeks and I can't hardly type or move a mouse. No modding for awhile too I guess. I go to the doc in an hour and a half to get the bone set and a cast put on it. It took me like 15 minutes to type this. I want to die at the moment.
Just an odd question - you said it felt funny before you looked. Did you immediately feel a searing pain when you actually looked at it and realised what had happened? Funny how the brain works.

no, i think NOT. most people hit things to make themselfs feel better, i know I do. He would need help if he saw it was big and metal and said, "ill punch this to hurt myself". Rather he punches what looked like a soft thing. Not meaning to cause harm, just vent his anger! I bet it was really funny I'd have been laughing

Well actually this game pays for college. I am on a basketball scholarship. So it carries a little more weight than just a game. Well, just got back from the doc, here is the rundown: broke 1 bone, dislocated another, I have surgery on Friday to put pins in the dislocated one until it heals in 4-6 weeks. Its in a big splint thing right now.
