very nice craftsmanship....just make sure you sign your woodworking before you put too many coats on it...I always forget to sign my pieces.
This case has given me such insperation on a small project I am about to start. It is just amazing to see the level of detail you have used. Keep up the great work.
well, its almost done...relatively speaking that is, but anyway, i did a lot of work, the wood is done, and i started to put things together to see how everything was fitting. the fan in the floor was the main part to do, besides lighting and actual assembly, but it turned out nice. i just cut a hole in the floor, and used my japanese chisels to make a recess for the flange of the fan. then i wrapped panty hose around it as a filter (still need to see if this works) then i made a plate out fo acrylic for the top. i'm cutting this off later here it is in the case here is the internal frame outside of the case, all put together and with all the paper off to keep the cards in the back, i made this and then it was time to test fit the top: and here we are, mostly put togehter, but with no doors yet and now the doors are on, but not finished, there still might be panels on the one side and top, but i'm rethinking that whole thing, but here they are: that's all for now, still all the wiring to do, and installing the rest of everything, also the lighting is driving me nuts, but its definately coming along. i also had fun with photoshop, and here is one last pic to leave u guys with, enjoy:
i love this case, one of the top wooden projects i've seen, definately worthy of the front page, lets hope to see it there now it's finished. cant wait to see how you get on with te internals and WC loop and of course your lighting.
Very nice! The reflection of that stained glass window thingy looked way cool! I was wishing it was part of your case! Very nice work as is though!
it's absolutely gorgeous. Really very nicely done. I liked the top part from the start and it's still my favorite part. But the rest is coming close, really close
I seriously wish I had the time and patience to put something like this together. Your attention to detail and craftmanship with this project has been absolutely incredible. I've followed this from when you first started and have been impressed the entire way.. Even without the computer equipment inside, it's a work of art.. Congrats on a huge success!!
Awsome Work man, makes me think of Mr. Miogi on karate kid, AWH DANIEL SON you have very good modding skill. you have mastered the art of plexi and wood very good daniel son
absolutely amazing!! small suggestion.u know at the back, where the pci slot covers are, are you gna be making any of those?i assume u are.for the graphics card, y not make a plate for that too?to replace the stock one?it'd fit in really well with the theme, and black mesh grilles for the rear fans! have fun!
This case is a gem. I love the mix of wood and mirrored plexi. I just have one question, why the (btx?) case layout, wont the heat from the cpu just rise and settle on your chipset and gfx card?
