With the atx connector, wouldnt you be smart to bridge the correct pins at the atx plug, so the currnet is still distributed evenly over the motherboard.

that's funny because such a wire can hold up to ~20A
and the power consumption on 3.3v and 5v is ~2A on each,
it is really really low power, and the bridges are on the mobo's PCB - 1cm away from the plug....

You might not have measured when you had it, but how tall is the highest point on the mobo? I'm planning a mod using one of these boards (m10000) and can't find any dimensions beyond the 17cmx17cm. Thanks. Can't wait to see what you're gonna do with this mod.

    Hi !

I think it is the CPU's fan (or the RAM) at ~4.5 or 5 Cm

    OK,
I give up for the VIA mobo, and changed it for a COMMELL LV-667 which is same basis, but much better features !!!! and much more modern !!

the chassis construction will begin soon, when I have more time, and cooler weather :wallbash:

    the pictures:

as told, a mini itx !! :naughty:

    BACK PANEL !
that is one of the best rear panels i have seen !!!

one small minus (or maybe not) - it has some chips on the back of the PCB.

    power and DIMM....

TWO IDE connectors !! amazing: one for 3.5" and one for 2.5" HDD !
and two SATAs that i wont be using...

one CF card slot I probably wont using as well....
for what do you want me to use it ??

    Thats all pics for now.....!

update soon, for chassis, HD, and some kind of PSU :worried:

    A lil' question:

I'm planning one plate to be under the mobo, and another that will be on it.

what you think will be better:
plexi plates ? thin copper plates ?
one plexi & one copper ?

Just out of interest; where'd you get your commel board? I have been searching and the best I could find was $350! or more USD. I might use one rather than the via board because I like the size, but not at that price!
