This may sound a bit odd, but I'm not sure I understand the grading system used in the UK. I went to school in Canada, and all our grades came as a percent. I assume A is good, but what does E mean?
ABCDE - Alphabetical. A = best, E = worst and then you can get U's which are so bad they're ungradeable.
its not that a U is ungradeable, its just that its below the minimum grade (E), you still get a percentage mark for them (U = Ungraded not Ungradable ) they dont just send back a note saying "wtf is this? you get a U!"
B in French (was expecting an A, somehow messed up one module) B in ICT C in English Can't really complain about those as they get me into Cardiff
Ok it looks geeky I know. Double maths kills any social life but it got me into the course I want to do.
How nice of you to say so, the answer would be i didn't put enough work and knew very little of one module.
Not really, when I was doing my A levels I got A's in Maths and Further Maths without it interfering with my socialising time after school...
In my AS I got: Computing - A - 286/300 (which happens to be my 1st computer, an old 286) Physics - A Maths - B (predicted U) Geography - B General Studies - C - compulsary at my school, and can probs up that to a B if I resit the 1st unit Im pleased with that succeeded in my 2 aims: get more than all Cs and prove my maths teacher wrong
CD + CCC brookes here i come WOOO... knew i was going before i got my results through the ucas track.. kinda spoilt the suprise
