Okay.. I dont know so much about mac ...
I will use it for web browsing, photo editing, and maybe some music. But dont know what to buy, what is the best thing to spend my money on?

    1: Mac mini 1.42ghz 80gb, and a ipod nano 2gb.

    2: Ibook 12"inch and a LeBAG [IMG]
this will be littel more expensive..

    Thanks for help...

well it depends what you want doesn't it? do you want a desktop or a laptop? personally id go with an ibook because there amazing :D and of course they have a better spec than the mac mini.

EDIT: looks like the mac mini actually has about the same spec as a ibook, my bad.

Don't forget you need a screen with the macmini. They are very likely in specs, so if you don't have a screen to spare atm, I would definatly go with the iBook. It will portable and the price difference will be very small.. definatly worth the little extra to go portable.

    good luck

The iBook has a slight advantage over the mini, but only in the graphics department, ie you can have two screens (mirror and spanning with a hack) and its also a Radeon 9500Mobility, which isn't a bad card.

Hmm, how comes the 12" Powerbook only has a 5200 then? Although it does have more memory, surely a 9550 is more powerful than a 5200?

You'd be suprised! I thought powerbooks came with 9700's? Or maybe the 12" comes with a 5200, dunno.

The 9550m is pretty dire though, It doesnt play halo very well at all.

as far as i can make out fx5200 produces less heat and provides better battery life than mob radeon 9500, so i guess that's how it made its way into uber-portable 12" powerbook :) and its pc version plays gta-sa very nicely :)

    OT:

I'm actually quite suprised at what the 5200's are capable of. My friend used to play CS:Source on one, and managed to get good framerates!

12 inch pb does come with the 5200 go, i was just ripping one apart like an hour ago(worst design by apple) 15 and 17 both have 128 9700s. (i love working on those) i think the ibook and mac mini only have 32 mb of vram though ibook being the 9550 and the mini being the 9200. the i book is limted on resolution though and for photoshop and stuff like that it would bother me. i think the max on the mini is 1280 as the ibook is 1024

I can say unequivocally that the (current) 12" Powerbook has better graphics capabilities than the current 12" iBook :)
