Thermaltake needs better marketing. Admitted, their site did go through a revamp, and it does look better, but there are blatant errors all over the site. Here's one to start this thread off. http://www.thermaltake.com/coolers/4in1heatpipe/cl-p0071SonicTower/cl-p0071.htm
Anybody see the absolutely stupid mistake? No? Here's a hint: http://www.thermaltake.com/images/shared/marks/comboCoolLogo.gif
Yes, they did say "DIY by Yourself," or Do It Yourself by Yourself. That's... idiotic. To say the least. Now, anybody else want to post some subtle (or not so subtle) mistakes? Admins, feel free to move/delete/whatever this thread if it's wrong/a repeat/bad. Have fun, guys!

I tried finding the product info page for a chassis that had inaccuracies, but the link is broken. Go figure. I agree, though... if they're going to update their site, they should do so in an intelligent manner.

That reminds me of when they said "skiing on skis" on the bbc the other day when comparing skiing and snowboarding.

The most annoying one of them is 'PIN Number' as everyone says it. Grrrrr.

Maybe they are implying DIY is usually so annoying that it involves calling someone else in to help? Therefore their point being its easy as hell.

    Or maybe i'm wrong? :p

There was an article on /. describing how to "make a redundant RAID array".

Also, you see dumb stuff like "Optical S/PDIF cable with gold plated connectors"

The most annoying one IMO is "LCD display". I admit to saying "PIN number" once or twice :worried:

Hey, CD's fit in a lot of places! Toasters (true story), laser printers (true story), skeet launchers (true story), and even in an old 5.25" floppy drive (true story). But none up there... Hmm.....

SDRAM is synchronous (same speed as the processor bus) dynamic (as opposed to static RAM used in processor caches) RAM. DDR SDRAM is a type of SDRAM.

    [/pedantic]

Ones that I hear fairly often from people include "HDD drive", "CD disc" and "password phrase". The last one is particularly confusing; surely it should be passphrase?
