The IQ test by definition is not a test of knowlege or academic ability. Therefore you cant study for an IQ test. I personally feel its not possible to test the IQ of adults because they have more experience. Testing young kids IQ is possible, coz of untaught raw brain power. I watched the BBC test and only about half the question were actually testing IQ the rest were learned responces. The maths questions for example; an accountant who adds strings of numbers together all day long is going to be mentally conditioned. Some Physics questions I knew coz of my A-levels. The fact the teachers came first and then the students proves that the questions were mostly about knowledge and education. I'm 20 and got 130 on the BBC test. I dont believe in ego boosting IQ tests which breed elitist kids and slap down normal ppl. What do ya think the most powrefull man in the world G W Bush has for an IQ???? ride
The idea is that you can't study for an IQ test, but I studied for mine by doing other IQtests and I got 148. I also think that intelligence can't be measured in numbers, because everyone is intelligent, but just at different things. There's no test for calming a hostile person down or being a great listener, but both require intelligence.

IQ test really suck...last time I had was tested I remeber it being 160 but I dont think thats right. I think it was 140. IQ shouldnt be limited by age anyways. i mean 70+ just to score 138??? Cmon one of the founders of Motorola had a 210 at like 25! So the BBC's is a bit whack I think. Never did like the BBC n e ways....

be honest we arent exactly the arts and crafts section of play school here i dont think iq tests are worth there sort i filled in three online ones a few yeas back and got three different results. there is a good one at www.thespark.com i think they where the first ones to give me an honest answer the rest went from 110 to 130 and i know thats not true because i had an educational psychologist rate me in a totally different way that shows that while some people have advanced ability to do one thing they will lack the ability for other things. plus i think that people of a high iq would be in places like this as its a pretty nerdy way to spend time. no offence after all im here. p.s. liniar im bald also dont let them fluster you.
your iq doesent change, theoretically it is a measure in your innane intellegence, not of any particular aspect of your brain. btw the american SAT's are based off of an early version of an IQ test that the inventor cerated for the us army. A true Iq test does not test upon common knowledge, or uncommon knowledge either, it just tried to portray your .......... innane INTELLEGENCE QUOTIENT. I did a cheap one online and got 156, I have been wanting to take a real one ever since.
i'm 14 and i just took one at iqtest.com and it gave me a 141. and i started to take one at www.thespark.com but my sister tried to talk to me and then was looking over my soulder and so i stopped it and will take it another time.
