Ok, I acquired an LW-200 Wordprocessor Case From School today, and it is fairly large so could at least fit a Micro-ATX board so could make a reasonable computer. I am trying to flatten out the insides and was wondering what the best tool to do this as it is not very accessible, although that will be easier once I have managed to get the rail out of the way that is left inside.

Use a dremel + flexshaft to cut it all away?

This is taking an age to cut as the only tools I am using at the moment are a hacksaw (which is difficult with the limited space around the edges and a Dremel which doesn't really cut very much.

    Any help?

What attachment are you using with the dremel and what exactly are you trying to cut? A picture would help with us to see what you're actually doing. If you don;t want to get a flex shaft, nothing suggested here so far will be affordable either, although the jigsaw would be the best bet since the sawsall (i have one of the ones on that link) is usually used for rougher and bigger projects.

I have plenty of tools, just not spare bits for the Dremel, what sort of cutting disc is best? At the moment I only really have a Metal Cutting disc.

IMO - diamond discs (Dremel part no: 545) are the best ;)

Well I got a heavy duty cutting disc today, I think Diamond will be a bit expensive but the set includes some of the fibreglass reinforced blades which were recommended in a tutorial.

Ok, my collets (if that is the right part) arent big enough for the shaft supplied, is it ok if I use a slightly thinner shaft as its not like I am cutting a very tough material.
