    Never.

Fine-looking cards, although not much different, and the boxes are really nice too. Although it must be said, how often do you actually base a graphics card purchase on how good the box is? If the same could be said for heatsinks, no-one would buy a Thermalright.

I think its pretty good that even though there is a fairly good range of cards there, they made it easy for the less enterprising person to choose the card to suit them.

    (I linked that originally btw)

Glad they finally decided to branch out. Being Foxconn means that it's gonna be top quality and with funky box designs, how can you go wrong? It's probably gonna be well priced as well, again because it's Foxconn :p

Out of curiosity, what is a 7950 GT? Is it like a 7900 GTX, but with HDCP?

dual gpu, sli on a single card basically, from what i understand.

very funky boxes, much better than the annoying cg women they tend to use. maybe i will get one when i upgrade my pc :D (wholey on box design ofcoruse :) )

its more powerful than a 7900gt. but less than a gtx. and with hdcp (why the could't start shoving gt/x's out with it :wallbash: )

thats the 7950gx2. not this new 7950gt
    ( :hehe: confusing people allready)

Personally I think the boxes are UGLY but then those get thrown out anyway -meh. How do the cards perform and what are the prices? - that's all that really matters to me (besides noise).

I'm a little confused as to the headline though: Is this about Foxconn's entry to the market or about the designs on the boxes? It seems to me that the focus is on the latter but the "real" story is the former.

7950 GT @ green? Naaaw! Black is such a nice color for a gfx card! :)
    Prices would be nice though.

Nice cards. I like my video cards in any colour, except white. I can't stand those white and red crossfire motherboards either. Looks like some sort of dessert rather than a motherboard.

I don't care what the boxes look like. Hell, if it would make the cards £10 cheaper, I'd say stick them in a brown box OEM style! :hehe: The ad slogan could be 'so good we have to put it in a plain brown box' or some nonsense like that. :hehe:

I'm not all that bothered by what the PCB looks like. I agree that the strawberries and cream look of the Sapphire Crossfire boards is a little... wrong, and the blue/yellow/green/orange combo on many of the Gigabyte boards eyebleedingly painful, but as long as the card works, its not like I can see it anyway once its in my computer.

I am aware that it is different for many of the members of Bit-Tech who mod their PCs to within an inch of its life, but in an ATX case, you can't see anything other than the back of the card anyway... :)

Talk about misleading title... I could care less what the box looks like, seeing that I never do (or even have the opportunity to) my hardware shopping in a retail environment - it's ALWAYS online.

But I totally second/third/fourth/??? the idea of all-black cards. Even though at the moment I'm confined to notebooks and my desktop hasn't been in a case with a window for well over a year.
