Being close to the same price. Wanted yalls take on a better setup. 1. 2x EVGA 512MB 7950 GTs in SLI 2. 1x EVGA 512MB 7900 GTX please comment.
There are something like 300 games that support SLI these days, so most eventualities are covered. Of course, there are some genres that don't get touched. At least NVIDIA gives you the option to create your own SLI profile though.
But then again with DX10 coming. You think it would be a better choice to just go with 1 7950 gt to get by till DX10? I currently have a 256MB 7800 GT but building a new duel core rig and wanted a little more graphics power. But I dont wanna shell out 500+ USD if the cards wont support direct X 10.
I was under the impression that this was a short term thing, as in, stock within a couple of weeks. Certainly I was planning on getting one as soon as I saw them come in. Is the ETA expected to be significantly higher then this?
omg no...don't do anything these fools have suggested...go with this instead http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814139150 omg super leet
:\ Uhmm... What was the point in that? To be honest, I'd go with the 7950's, great cards, and SLi pimps your e-wang.
oh no krikkit, i know u aint dissin me...what you think it was for? break the monotony of everyone bein so serious and pumpin their opinion of the best card for his situation...requires a sense of humor to figure that out i suppose...just kiddin krikkit...u da man
