ive had some time to think and think and think and think ...... so today i may go to hardware store and get a new piece of accrillic for the window i just want to know what you think of it inside the case so put your votes in at the top i like it either way and if i put a new sheet on the side with no fans it will overal be quiter witch i would like to go asleep easylie because i can fall alsleep with this comp now lol 2 many 80mm fans so tell me if you like comments welcome thanks
haha, Burton \o/ That was all about offtopic, looks pretty good, but i would prefer more clear tubing and UV-blue dye instead of that dark blue tubing.
Are there holes in the bottom of that case? If not theres not going to be such a good airflow over that Rad.
its not even mounted yet lol i will put holes in ya i snowboard so i have this little hankerchif from burton i hope i have a big season here
me liks the rad placement, keep it there!!!! one mroe thing, u should put higher feet on case and make the areocool fans push instaid of pull.
umm just to let you know those fans wont work well with that type of radiator, those fans cant produce enough static pressure also the CFM output on them is pretty low so you wont be getting good temps because of that, you would want to look for a 120x120x38, a good fan that would work for this and is nice and quiet but are about 21.00us each is SilenX http://www.frozencpu.com/products/4...iXtrema_Pro_Fan_IXP-76-18.html?tl=g33c165s358
well i have heard reviews about these fans that they go slow and dont blow much air but they do and a little interal voltage change did the trick there quite yet moving a bunch of air
Update November 21st Ok so ive been thinking of it ive started a poll asked friends and alot more so heres what im going to do i am going ot go to my hardware store tommorow buy a new piece of 1/4th inch plexi cut it with my dads jig then using this template i am going to cut the bottom pannel out, with um hole saw then jig then dremel then file and sandpaper lol i hope all this works out Edit: Everything is marked and ready to be cut i am going to cut it tommorow morning WOOT lol
id say inside bottom, and put either the rad or the fans outside of the case and give the case some bad @$$ case feet for ground clearance, maybe some rolling furniture casters ever
lol well alot of people have been complaining that i havent been doing alot of modding, so the other day i had my friend spend the night we stayed up till 5:00AM so for about 3 hours from 1:00 to about 4:00 i was busy modding and he was gaming on my rig lol i was sleeving/ moddin had to be quite or parents would have waked so i did it in my closent the place in my room whitch is furthest from my parents room, we also snuck downstairs to play a little ps2 so here is what i sleeved 2 Sata connectors (ones i am going to be using dua) all the power leaders for the Cold cathodes all the wires coming from the cold cathodes and the wire from the pump pics: hope you like comments welcome thanks i need ideas for feet i was thinking of buing thin acrillic when i get my new pannel and layer it like this ________ _______ ______ _____ ____ ___ __ _ and glue them together and mabey put a led in it
I just had to say that this reminded me of buying my first computer - with an Intel 80386 16MHz processor, an 80MB hard drive, a 2 whole MB of RAM, and the very first generation of Sound Blaster. It cost $3700 Canadian and was a pretty AWESOME system at the time. Have fun man
hmmm sleeing looks OK for a beginer, but ive got sugestions, mabe get some heatshrinks, trust me they work ALOT better than zipties for keeping the sleeving on the wire, plus it looks nicer, and cost conciderably less amount. You dont have to take all those zipties off, but mabe when you get some heatshrink you can put it over the zipties to mask some of those frayed ends and joints. all you need is some heatshrink (comes in may colors) and a lighter/heat gun, i practiced with a lighter and got pretty good at it.
What the heck are all the zip ties there for? Just zip (or preferrably heat shrink) the ends and that's it.
well i have a problem i have no heatshirnk. yes i always put zip ties on before i heatshrink but i dont have heatshrink i need to find some somwhere lol
Update November 22 well i decided im going to mount the rad on the bottom WOOT lol pics getting preped starting getting there slowly moving lol first half done both done sanding finished sanding done pic done pic i am going to my hardware store today to get some new accrillic for the new window. i have alot of leftover accrillic and i am going to have that old window so i am going to make the feet cool tonnight or somthing. thanksgiving breaks sweet comments welcome Thanks
ok well today i went to da home depot woot lol i got my acrillic and and and and it i cut it so now i need to get my custom feet done
i got heatshrink at frys and i found it works best if you stretch a smaller size hs instead of using the smallest kind that will fit over the connector oh and when you cut sleeveing burn the edges a but on both sides and it wont fray
