You're fine... He got banned because he wasn't paying attention while he was macroing...

The best part about the G15 is the Ventrillo/Teamspeak support in WoW... I use the G Keys for everything I need... At times I wish games supported dual monitors or external type mini-displays... I'd love to be able to have all my character, map, mod, group, etc windows on another monitor or display...

The biggest issue I have (and I really want to know if I can get them replaced) is the backlit keys are rubbing away... I literally cannot make out what my ASDF keys say, it's just a garbled, blue-lit mess...

Has anybody else had this problem?

I've not had it, I gather the very first batch out of the factory had it, but they solved it with a second release. Also heard that logitech replaced the keys when that happened to someone before.

Yea... Reading this review made me think that I should call Logitech to see if I can get my keyboard replaced... most of the Logitech forums posts state that you can get them replaced...

Disregard my previous post if you are looking into buying one (I'm assuming you'd get the non-flawed batch)....

I love it either way... it's worth the money.

    About the keyboards:
As someone already posted earlier, I too was a bit dissapointed by the lack of the most important information a gaming keyboard overview / roundup / brief-look or what-so-ever can have - that is the "maximum allowed simultaneous keypress". And besides, the backlighting does have some practical use too =]

On the general level I like that all these peripherals are gathered in a single neat package.

    Merry Christmas to BT =]

Id just like to say i have a G15

and the 1 main use i found for the LCD screen is displaying who is talking on Teamspeak/Ventrillo

Its a feature i could not live without anymore

It also supports windows MCE (well basically media player) showing track info and so on

It is excellent, the only 2 complaints i have about it are
    A) the screen isn't big enough, or you need like 3 :p
    B) not enough games support it yet

I found it to be the best of the lot for the Xbox 360. A steering wheel without force feedback is the same as having a joystick without force feedback, so I'd say the Logitech DriveFX is not usable on the PC if you're a driving fanatic.

Sony MDR-V6's will get you 10x the sound quality that those junky headphones can even come close to. And only $65.

    SAitek ?

Well, my experience with saitek drivers was the most frustrating thing ever.

The Drivers made by Saitek, "not only the Steering wheel", are a real crap.

Long time ago i contacted saitek forum moderator to help me out making the driver work, guess wha6t ? i sold the wheel 5 days later, noone can make this thing works "right" under winxp.

Stay away from saitek drivers until they hire someone who can make it work

    Are you sure about this?

I've seen quite a few videos (official and otherwise) that state you can use the standard 360 controller battery packs to power the wheel (albeit without force-feedback). Apparently up to 10hours use...

I got the 360 wheel for christmas and it is true that you can use the steering wheel with an included battery pack, the same as the one used in the controller. There is understandably no force feedback when the power cable is not used as i'd imagine the power pack (being 2AA batteries) would last about 3 seconds powering the motor.

I decided I wanted this steering wheel after I realised that after this: http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/hardware/x/xbox360wirelessgamingreceiver/ wireless reciever for windows is released in the UK, I could use the wheel for the PC. I read somewhere games released for PC that want the "Games for Windows" label must support the official 360 controllers, wheels etc if applicable.

Got me a Logitech G15 this week, its a nice enough keyboard noisey compared to my old one, I got it mainly for the LCD to watch temps etc on my PC when gaming with it overclocked and it works great.

Need to play with the layout a bit but useful IMO.

I want to see more keyboard reviews/joystick reviews! I love it because there is no like comprehensive keyboard review site so it's kinda hard to learn about all the new or good stuff out with out spending a lot of time on newegg.com and other electronic shops.

Though I think I have found paradise with my Enermax Aurora (at quite the damn price to ;_; ). My dream keyboard would pretty much be this keyboard with start, stop, play, pause, and OS volume control. But alas...I have yet to find such a thing.

However...the headphones have got to stop lol. I am a headphone hobbyist. And it's pretty funny to me to read some of things you guys write about some of these cans you been getting to review. Just one stop to head-fi, headphones guru, or headwize would set you guys straight. In the price range of some of those "gaming headphones". There are much better offerings, and once you put on some quality headphones it will be a blessing and a curse heh.

ExtremeTech has some keyboard & mouse reviews this week - but they too forgot a major item in their keyboard reviews: How many simultaneous keys do they support?

Belkin Nostromo SpeedPad N52, very nice, and usefull for all sorts of different things, you could probably even set it up to allow you to fast code webpages if you wanted. These gaming keyboards with specialist layouts all seem to be taking some of the personal customisation out gaming. You press the keys you've been given and then you can kill people! meh!

the g15 has a nice concept... although pretty worthless for me.. somewhat just a "bling factor" I dont like the way it looks too. The saitek eclipse in the other hand is minimalist in design.. i like it...

I have had a G15 for half a year now and like it much more than any other keyboard I've ever used.

no X52 included in that group?!? I have one sitting right here and I can attest that it is probably the best joystick ever made.
