DVD drives problem.

i have this problem. both of the drivs are fine, tested them on a different computer. They are also both recognized in bios and i can boot from them.

before, my overclock was 3.6, but i lowered to back down to stock(e6600). now i get this problem

did u put everything in the bios to default??

 

If you overclock and you have this problem, it COULD MAYBE be a due to lack of power.

 

everything default. yes it is a plug and pla driver issue. how do i fix it?

Well I really have no clue, try an other device instead an see if it works.
Ah, is "Plug and play" service enabled? Same for the BIOS?

ok, ive found the problem, it is a driver problem. i installed roxio easy media 7 and it changed the dvd drivers. i upgraded to easy media 9 and poof, restart and problems gone! with a little help from mininova.org hehe.

 

I was just about to say that, but yeah if you ever see that in device manager its a driver problem
