hey dude, now that would be telling

its an unfinished project well sorta 80 percent but it taxed and tested for 10 months, its currently off the road due to a shattered inner cv joint but im replacing the shaft with a spare either today or tomorrow depending on time.

cant wait to get the few final touches done to her, i grin like a fool driving both of my mark1s. ive always wanted to own one and somehow ive ended up with two.

hehe it's a well looked after 2nd hand car and yes.. the fuel consumption is shocking

Averaging just over 20 mpg so far and after spending nigh on 120 squids already on fuel after only 600 miles. It's hurting.

But it's an awesome car though, the handling is soooo good! So sosososo good

 

I wouldn't mind one of those little rx-8's. There pretty cool looking, but I know a few people who had lemons for engines, and mazda keeps trying to screw them out of replacement engines.. Even though the car is only 2 months old.

 

RX-8s are growing on me all the time. I hated the look of them when they first came out. Waaay ahead of it's time I reckon.

 

I thought the same exact thing. But they keep growing on me.

It brings back very happy memories for me actually, 'coz I used to own a black 'G' reg Mini meself years ago (1981 - 1983)
One of the best cars I've ever owned (and I've owned quite a few over the years, let me tell ya)

Mine was all 'tricked out' too (both inside and out) - with sports this and that... and it had a reconditioned Gold Seal engine under the bonnet no less - which were as rare as rocking horse turds at the time

 

Since i am uber poor this is what i am "Driving" at the moment.

Avg Speed: Faster than i can run (i should get my aunt to clock it with her radar gun - she's a cop)

Now if only i had enough money to buy a real FXX

I've had it to 130 on the speedo (probably 120 real world speed) once on my way back from Wales to London. What was really sad though was that on that trip an Imprezza came up behind me so I pulled over into the left lane and the guy in the Subaru took off almost like I was standing still I was doing 120 on the clock at the time.

 

It looks quite nice, not to riced. In particular like the rims.
