ok i am using http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16815116620 i want to record my xbox 360 while playing on tv which uses composite i think. It's the red blue and white wires.. someone told my i need a splitter or something can someone give me a link to all the wires i will need the comp is about 10 ft away from tv.
composite is yellow, component is Red-Green-Blue, audio is the red/white pairing newegg is currently down, but if it has a yellow-red-white attachment like mine then all you need is to check that your TV has a Yellow-Red-White output on it and connect that to the TV tuner.
i know what i need to so but i don't know what the splitters or wires are called so i need a link i can buy from?
same model as mine, you don't need an adapter, just plug the Xbox 360 into the TV through the composite connector, and connect the TV's red-white-yellow out jacks to the tuner card's red-white-yellow inputs using a generic composite cable. I do the same thing to record gameplay on my system, no complex adapters necessary. if your TV doesn't have a composite or S-video out functionality then all you need to do is get a signal splitter (available from radioshack or equivalent for about $10US)
i found this.. http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...&cs_id=1024101&p_id=130&seq=1&format=2&style= now for the splitter
http://www.radioshack.com/family/in...Cable+Type/Y-adapter&fbn=Cable+type/Y-adapter should be something you can use there
