    dear liza, dear liza

just installed my new system, and ive been running it for a wee while leak testing and there seems to be a very small leak somewhere amongst the rad fins near the barb end of it.

does anyone have any advice on how to fix it? unfortunately i think i have somewhat voided the warranty by adding a fillport to the other chamber :/

wish id leak tested before i made that :/

If you can find the leak and reach it you could repair it. I punctured my rad with a self-tapper which was a bit too long a few years back, but managed to fix it with a soldering iron in about 5 mins.

Better pic? It looks like you have installed a HE/PA Thermochill directly into a case???! :)

I don't know whether this would work in pc water-cooling, but where I work (a garage) we fix car radiators with a special liquid that seals small holes. Just a thought if you can't think of a better method.

any idea what the special liquid is called? i know theres rad weld, but there are supposed to be better solutions than that.

cant get a better pic atm, because as severed head said, its in the case. the puncture itself must be tiny, as im losing only a few millilitres every couple of hours, and none at all when the pumps off.

Try a soldering iron - I had a hole in one of my rads (2nd hand) from some adventurous self-tapping screwage, that lost quite a bit of water tbh.

If you can't see the leak, try weld-bond as BBQ said. :)
