vietel, what are peach pickers, why do they look like mercenaries, and why do they need a machine gun?

 

For shooting down peaches from trees. A machine gun does it faster

 

Our class motto.

 

These are the guys picking peaches from the trees during day time. At night they change into this outfit to do their rounds protecting the invaluable peaches from robbing hands. The camouflage kit is to make sure they can actually get close enough to have a good aim at the tresspassers.

Yes I felt uncomfortable there (, even though one of them was my girlfriends brother). Mind, these pictures were taken after we went through three 2-liter bottles of homemade "cognac". (which helped me, they considered me a man when i was still standing after this drinking session, with mugs for shot-glasses . )

This is deep down Russia, close to the black sea (With Chechenya (sp?) on the other side.) These people you don't fool around with... Ah well, shall we say another life experience?

Edit: Yeah, I felt like **** taking this photo, but I needed something to throw on facebook, and this was it. I should really get to taking pictures more often so I'm not reduced to using moody B+W shots taken myself.

Tis not a cafe, it was taken in "The Globe", on the last day of college. Not the best pub in Chichester, but the closest to the station. (You could probably spit from the station to the pub, if you so desired)
