that's f$@#in cool - this is probably the only pc case i've ever seen that might actually increase a man's sex appeal.

Be prepared for alot of copy cats... your modding would suit my garage pc very nicely actually...

at first i was a bit put off with (1) the use of the coolmaster cosmos as it FULGY (2) based on a car.


however its done very well! dont forget to get the guys down the CNC shop to custom make you some alloy wheels for it to sit on. Lian li style but better! lol!

I would have preferred to put much more of a curve on the bars just like the real thing like this (thanks to Reckless187 for the photo) but the aluminium was way to hard to and i seem to be running out of time so ended up sort of rounding the corners which is a good second best.

Anyway, got them rounded off and polished up and they look pretty cool.......

 

dude that is looking good,really like the way ur not using just a plain old window but instead making it like the vents on the merc.

Just realised it’s the 16th today so I’ve not got as much time as I’d thought so may miss the Coolermaster Mod competition this year but I’ll keep at it

Some exhausts........

Last job of the day I angle cut some aluminium pipe into 4 sections (2 for each side) to replicate the SLR exhausts and then polished them.

The little cut out bits from the side panel will be getting some gloss black and clear coat which the pipes will be mounted to and the inside of the pipe will be getting painted matt black

 

Amazing shine on those pipes dude, are you using a polishing machine ?

Yeah i use a dual action Hitachi sander/polisher with a lambswool bonnet and Peek Aluminium Polish for the flat stuff but i use a bench grinder/polisher with various types of polishing soap for the bars and exhausts.......i'll get a picture for you but its pretty much like most bench polishers.

Bottom line is..........polishing aluminium is a dirty dirty job so be prepared for you and everything around to get totaly scruffy but the end results are amazing
