A stepping motor controller and an engine run it then.

 

On a Hungary competition .
Mod-tech hall.
The pyramid was the success.

What's with that spinning hour glass?

Is it somehow related to the opening and closing mechanism?
It looks as though the hourglass somehow spins and slowly opens the case without and electricity.

Definitely a 5 star modder. I can't believe that you only got 3rd prize. Have you won the other years in a row, so they felt they had to give it to someone new? I want to see the 1st and 2nd place winners.
Maybe they thought the opening was too slow? I also don't understand the hourglass, is that what opens the top?

i REALLY like the main case of this project log (your other mods are awesome too.)
The water/fluid through the case body is a great idea, and you've carried it off beautifully. Do the copper pipes actually carry fluid? or is it just decorative? It looks like the fluid goes through channels between blocks of plexi.

The Iris that can be opened with a motor is great too. Can you show a short video of it opening and closing? I didn't see it in the 2 videos I watched.

The opening stepmotor and a right one and a leftish procession stem move it.

Looks great! I like the way you made that. I wish you could tell me how to make it (or show me with designs!)
And yes, like The boy from oz said, congratulations on placing in any way in the competition, and even more so for making so many interesting and different mods, that look good and have cool features. I look forward to further updates.
