    DESCRIPTION

Every project begins with a draft. In my case the draft come out rather rough. The rest were in my head.

The base part of my new project was CM Mystique 632 case which attracted me with original front doors. Another base component which met my concept was CM CPU Cooler Sphere.

Just as last year my main goal was to cover case surface with a decorative elements.

Let's begin with some final photos (for most impatient viewers):

    Now let's go to
    WORKLOG

The main principle of my worklog: "Less words, more deeds!"
The base materials were wood, plywood and acryl.

First is more complex and laborious work

    TONING AND SUBASSEMBLY
Toning were made with water paint. Then some parts were lightened a little with fine sandpaper.

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

CM fans were modified, blue LEDs were added

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    [IMG] [IMG]

    PAINTING AND FINAL ASSEMBLY
After toning and fitting I disassembled the case and soaked all wooden details with epoxy varnish. Then I mixed transparent varnish with black paint. In a result I obtained varnish with grey hue. And after final varnishing and drying I assembled the case.

This mod is insane! I still can't believe what I saw... You've got the sickest skills I've ever seen!
Looks so bloody good, and you made it out of wood! Before I saw this, I would say it was impossible to make something like that out of wooden parts. So much details, and very good paint job!

I doo know that the movie/tv-show industry makes their scenery from wood, so my question is: do you work with sceneries as a fulltime job? You should consider doing so, if you don't already. ;)

I just saw your USB stick - thread and was going to suggest you make a full blown case with those amazing skills. Little did I know... You're one hell of a modder/artisan!
