@Veles, is that Arkham Horror, as in the board game? Damnably good laugh - takes hours and hours - started one game once at mid-day, didn't finish until 3 am. You'll need a big table if you want to get all the expansions!

Yeah we took about 4 and a half hours to do our first full game (which we played on the floor, by the end of it our knees were killing). Problem was my mate rang me up literally just after I punched out all the cardboard bits so I didn't get a chance to read the rules. It took us about an hour just to start then about another hour or so to get a few rounds done, by that time another friend arrived so we started again. Really enjoyed it though, we got about halfway through another game tonight before another friend came back so we stopped and played rock band, this time with a better grasp of the rules. Not finding it as difficult as people say they find it their first few times though, the first game we only lost because I didn't read the rules properly, we had almost won that, and we were doing pretty well in the game today. However it's definitely not easy.

Definitely gonna get the expansions when I've played a few more games, I'll probably get a few at once but add them in one at a time. Although I'm gonna need a bigger table, my table here is pretty damn big and it's not really big enough to play just the base game, it's long enough but not quite wide enough.

 

Holy hell and all that was cast into paradise! Do not temp me because there is more than enough space for someone to engrave "Eeeagle" on the lid.

 

@Veles - With the extra two boards, not to mention monsters and accessories, its about 6.5, maybe 77 feet long. Width is still the same. We're beginning to debate about making a big-ass Arkham board, so that we can glue the boards down, and stash it behind a cupboard in the game room.

In fact, our board is still laid out on the dining room table!
